Meet one of Europe's outstanding tea experts.
Nadia Bécaud founded her tea shop "Cha Yuan" 20 years ago, in Lyon, France, which has been purely dedicated to Chinese teas. In this period, Mrs. Bécaud has developed a huge personal network into the Chinese tea world and bears a number of honour titles from highly reputated Chinese tea institutions, such as the honourary doctor at the International Institute for Chinese Tea Culture in Hangzhou (Zhejiang province). In Zurich, she will talk as an "Ambassador of Tea", as one of her objectives is to provide more and more accurate information about Chinese teas in the west. But there won't be just theory, Mrs. Bécaud will be back from China right before the event, with many 2010 green tea crops in her lugguage. Event-visitors will have the possiblity to taste some of these very rare produces. |
